For the third rendition of our “employee spotlight” series, we caught up with Nick Maldonato to learn more about his role and experience with Thinaer. Nick has been at the company for almost three years now and serves as Revenue Operations Manager. Nick has been a vital and versatile member of the Thinaer team, playing a role in sales & marketing, solution design, sales engineering, and now revenue operations during his tenure.

Q: How long have you been with Thinaer? Have you always been in this particular role?
I will have been at Thinaer for 3 years in May. I’ve held quite a few different roles at Thinaer. I started off as an intern in college, moved my way into Sales Engineering and finally got my position as a Revenue Operations Manager earlier this year.
Q: How would you describe your role? What are your responsibilities?
Focused on putting a repeatable and predictable process behind revenue generation and growth. As we look to grow as an organization, our ability to make data driven decisions to drive pipeline and revenue will be crucial to that.
Q: What exciting projects have you been working on lately?
I’ve been focused mainly on some cool marketing initiatives like enhancing our advertising strategy and content conversion opportunities… like our upcoming webinar on the “Future of IIoT”!
Q: How would you say your role helps your fellow team members and/or customers?
I collaborate with all teams and functions to provide some level of assistance whether it be designing proof of concept solutions, working on marketing initiatives, or partnering with the product team for new GTM initiatives.
Q: What do you love most about working for Thinaer?
There’s not enough space to talk about everything that I love about Thinaer. If I had to pick one, it is the support team everyone provides, from fellow team members up to leadership. I feel like we’re all striving towards the same goal and vision.
Q: What have you learned since starting at Thinaer, personally and professionally?
Change is going to happen so don’t be scared of it… embrace it and find new ways to enhance your skillset.
Q: What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
I enjoy spending time with family, having them over and cooking a Sunday meal for everyone. I’m also a passionate NY sports fan.
