Our new Beta Geospatial Maps are here, offering advanced mapping capabilities to help you visualize and interact with your data like never before.

Highlights of Beta Geospatial Maps

1. Enhanced Mapping Controls:
   • Adjust overlay opacity.
   • Switch between Satellite or Road View.
   • Place map images over geospatial maps for more detailed analysis.
2. User-Friendly Tools:
   • Center and zoom into maps after dragging or zooming out.
   • Collapse all tables and menus for a distraction-free map view.
   • Stack assets as you zoom out for cleaner, more intuitive visualizations.
3. Administrative Customizations:
   • Edit map names, keywords, and descriptions directly within the platform for improved map management.
4. Streamlined Map Creation:
   • Floor number and name specifications are now required, ensuring precise geospatial context.

Note: The existing “Maps” feature has been renamed Legacy Maps. Both versions remain available for comparison during the beta phase.

1. Primary Beacon Updates: Admins and users can now change the primary beacon of an asset directly from the Asset Details page.
2. Breadcrumb Trails: View the last check-in timestamp to make date filtering easier and more accurate.
3. Bulk Upload Links: Asset names in bulk uploads now link directly to their corresponding Asset Details pages.

Exporting & Reporting Upgrades

1. Temperature Preferences: Choose your preferred temperature unit when exporting data from the Asset Details page.
2. Graph-Specific Data Exports: Only export the data visible on graphs, ensuring precision even when zoomed in.
3. Trigger Resolution Reports: Includes auto-resolve triggers for more comprehensive reporting.

Enhanced User Experience

1. Alphabetized Favorites: Favorites lists are now sorted alphabetically for faster navigation.
2. Icon Standardization: A consistent visual design applied across all icons for a more cohesive experience.
3. Copy Button for IDs: Easily copy Device IDs across various pages, including Device Management and Associated Beacons.

Onboarding & Security

1. Password Updates for New Users: Non-SSO users must now update their passwords upon their initial login to enhance security.
